Tantangan dan strategi manajemen risiko di bank syariah
Memastikan keberlanjutan dan keamanan finansial
Abstract
This article discusses the challenges Islamic banks face in managing risk, as well as strategies that can be used to ensure their sustainability and financial security. This research methodology uses a qualitative approach by exploring related literature and theories. Specific challenges Islamic banks face include product complexity, legal risk, sharia compliance, and reputational risk. Islamic banks are also faced with market, operational, credit, and cyber risks. Adjustments to the risk management framework under sharia principles have been made, including the use of technology and innovation. Strategies to minimize operational, market, and credit risk involve risk identification, measurement, and control. To ensure business continuity and meet the expectations of shareholders and customers, Islamic banks need to focus on sustainable growth, improved operational efficiency, transparency, and compliance with sharia principles in all aspects of their business. By implementing these strategies, Islamic banks can ensure their sustainability and financial security in the future.
