Abstract

The formation of students' religious character is one of the main goals in Islamic education. In an effort to increase religious awareness and appreciation, the book study habituation program has been used as an effective strategy in helping students develop better religious characters. book study habituation program is a program that allows students to learn and understand Islamic laws, as well as develop critical thinking and analysis skills in understanding religious teachings. The results show that the book study habituation program has a significant positive effect in increasing students' religious awareness and appreciation, as well as improving the ability to think critically and analytically in understanding religious teachings. The results also show that the book study habituation program can help students in developing better religious characters, such as awareness of religiousness, awareness of obligation, and awareness of responsibility. In implication, the results of this study can be used as a consideration in developing a more effective and efficient Islamic education program. The book study habituation program can be one of the strategies used in increasing students' religious awareness and appreciation, as well as developing better religious characters. Thus, the book study familiarization program can help students become a more faithful and moral generation, as well as a contributor to the society.
