Peran nilai-nilai Islam dalam pembentukan karakter siswa di lembaga pendidikan Islam
Abstract
Islamic education plays a significant role in shaping the character of students in Islamic educational institutions. Rooted in the values taught within Islamic teachings, it serves as a guiding principle in everyday life. Values such as justice, patience, honesty, and compassion form a strong foundation in guiding the process of individual character formation. Through the understanding and implementation of these values, it is hoped that students can internalize principles of morality and ethics. This article employs a theoretical approach to analyze the contributions of various literature, including book chapters and journal articles, towards understanding the role of Islamic values in shaping student character. By evaluating previous research, this article aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of how Islamic values can be effectively integrated into character formation. The urgency of this topic is underscored by the complex moral and social challenges faced by today's youth. A deeper understanding of Islamic values is crucial in finding more effective strategies in educating and guiding future generations towards strong character and noble morals.
