Hubungan game online addiction dengan kematangan coping mechanism
Abstract
Every individual has the ability to face life's challenges through coping mechanisms. There are two main types of coping mechanisms, problem focused coping and emotion focused coping. Research shows that the use of online games is related to the maturity of coping mechanisms. Students who use online games as a stress diversion tend to have mature problem focused coping. However, online game addiction can have a negative impact on adolescent development and psychosocial outcomes. Understanding coping mechanisms can help individuals face life's challenges more effectively. The use of online games needs to be understood so as not to disrupt the maturity of coping mechanisms, especially in teenagers.
