Sejarah Perkembangan Hukum Agraria Berdasarkan Periodesasi
Abstract
This article discusses the history of the development of agrarian law based on the colonial period that colonized Indonesia. Apart from that, the lack of understanding of information and knowledge regarding the history of agrarian law makes people, especially students in Indonesia, reluctant to realize how important agrarian law is in everyday life. Apart from that, remembering that we are living creatures and were raised above the ground. So it is appropriate for us to realize how important it is to learn about land in Indonesia and its history. This is proven by data based on the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) stating that in 2009, there were 56.5%, namely around 39 million farmers, who only owned and controlled less than 0.5 ha of land. With this situation, it does not reach the ideal condition where farmers should control 2 ha based on Law no. 5 of 1960 concerning Determination of Agricultural Land Area.
