Bullying is a serious problem faced by adolescents in various countries, including Indonesia. The impact of bullying is not only limited to physical injuries, but can also affect the mental and emotional health of victims, one of which is a decrease in learning motivation. This article aims to review the literature on the negative impact of bullying on adolescent learning motivation.
Based on the results of the literature review, bullying can have a significant negative impact on adolescent learning motivation. These impacts can include decreased interest in learning, concentration, self-confidence, and learning achievement. The negative impact of bullying on adolescent learning motivation is not only limited to adolescence, but can also continue into adulthood. Victims of bullying are more at risk of experiencing mental health problems, difficulties in establishing social relationships, getting a job, and achieving success in life. The findings of this study have important implications for educational policies and interventions. There is a need for strict and comprehensive anti-bullying policies, education about bullying, counseling and support services for bullying victims, and intervention programs to increase the learning motivation of adolescents who are victims of bullying.
