Abstract
This study aims to describe the connotative meanings in the lyrics of "Habbaitak X Ala Bali" using a semiotic approach. Music, as a medium of communication, is often used to express emotions and messages through melodic harmony, rhythm, and lyrics. The song "Habbaitak X Ala Bali" is a combination of two different songs that convey a deep and emotional love story. The research methodology is descriptive qualitative, employing note-taking techniques for data collection and data analysis through lyric translation and interpretation of connotative meanings. The results indicate that the lyrics of this song depict spontaneous and strong love from the first meeting, deep longing, and sadness due to separation. Each verse contains connotative meanings that enrich the listener's emotional experience, consistent with the view that connotative meanings are based on the feelings or thoughts that arise in the speaker and the listener.
