Gangguan stress pasca trauma kehilangan orang tua pada remaja
Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder
Abstract
Loss is something that everyone goes through, loss is synonymous with grief and trauma. A loss that occurs suddenly will give rise to an emotional response in the form of grief and trauma. The context of loss here is the loss of someone closest to you, such as a parent. The cause of grief is the close relationship between the individual and the deceased, resulting in feelings of sadness, loss and shock. There are several stages of loss, ending with the acceptance stage. Someone who does not reach the acceptance stage will stop at the previous stages. Most stop at the stage of depression and stress. One of the stress disorders that many people face after traumatic loss is PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder), which is a stress disorder that causes a person to experience trauma, thoughts, difficulty sleeping, and other symptoms. PTSD has almost the same symptoms as anxiety, bipolar and depression, so it is difficult to identify independently. We still need experts to identify PTSD, we must still be guided by PPDGJ. In PPDGJ it is fully stated how to handle PTSD cases according to the correct level criteria. Treatment for stress disorders can take the form of administering medication as recommended, or simply with social support from the environment and those closest to you. Knowing that everyone experiences loss, and trauma is an emotional response to loss. However, not everyone will experience deep trauma to the point of experiencing disorders, because some people with good emotional intelligence can handle their emotions so that they do not sink into sadness. Behind PTSD there is PTG which is the opposite of PTSD, PTG is a positive result of someone who can easily reach the acceptance stage. So he has experienced a trauma process and finally found good qualities about himself, after going through this long process. By achieving PTG, a person means they have been able to accept the existing reality and have had sufficient emotional intelligence to deal with the trauma.
