Recognition of religious studies began in the late 19th century, delving into the intricacies of various religions. This article aims to discuss the philosophy of religious studies, focusing primarily on the concepts of ontology, epistemology, and axiology within the field. Additionally, it seeks to serve as a useful resource for a deeper understanding of the philosophical study of religion. Through exploration, it is known that knowledge is a divine gift to humanity. According to Imam Abu Hanifah, religious knowledge entails understanding what is good and bad for oneself. Religion holds a significant position in life, especially within Islam.
