Peran dukungan sosial dalam menangani stress pada remaja
Abstract
This article discusses the importance of social support in helping adolescents cope with stress during a transitional period full of physical, emotional and social changes. Pressure from academic demands, friendship issues and family dynamics can affect adolescents' mental and physical well-being. Social support from family, friends, teachers and community serves as a buffer against the negative effects of stress, providing necessary emotional and practical resources. This support increases a sense of belonging and self-worth, reduces feelings of loneliness, and helps adolescents develop effective coping skills. Research shows that strong social support not only reduces stress but also contributes to healthy social and emotional development and long-term well-being.
