A morphological analysis of the prefix-suffix of Jokowi's speech at Ecosperity week in Singapore
Abstract
Penelitian ini menganalisis prefiks dan sufiks yang terdapat pada pidato Jokowi Dodo. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis-jenis awalan dan akhiran serta mengetahui jumlah awalan dan akhiran dalam Pidato Jokowi pada Pekan Ecosperity di Singapura. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi. Hasil penelitian terakhir menunjukkan bahwa total data prefiks dan sufiks berjumlah 5 data. Terdiri dari awalan Re- (2; awalan Pra- (1); awalan Non- (1); awalan Multi- (1); awalan Un- (1) dan jumlah data sufiks sebanyak 50 data, terdiri dari sufiks -ion (3; suffix -ed(3); suffix -ing (1; suffix -ly (10); suffix -ity (3. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa suffix -ed dan -ing adalah yang paling sering muncul. Dalam penelitian ini , peneliti juga menemukan imbuhan yaitu awalan dan akhiran. Selain itu, peneliti berharap agar siswa disarankan untuk mempelajari penggunaan imbuhan awalan dan akhiran. Dengan mempelajari, siswa dapat menambah pengetahuannya terhadap kosa kata baru kata, pembaca dapat menyusun kata itu sendiri.
