The method used is direct observation in the field and descriptive methods with a qualitative approach. From the results of observations and interviews in the field, it was explained that the activities of the Gedongkedoan village community before Eid al-Fitr and during Eid al-Fitr were Megengan, zakat fitrah, grave pilgrimage, and Eid al-Fitr prayers. Local traditions carried out by village communities during Eid al-Fitr celebrations include going home and gathering, traveling takbur, and visiting family graves.
