Mengenal respons trauma yang tidak disadari oleh remaja
Abstract
Adolescence is a critical period for a person undergoing physical, emotional, and social transformations to form their life identity. One urgent issue that often occurs among teenagers is a lack of awareness of their traumatic experiences. A trauma response is a natural reaction of a person's mind and body to their traumatic experience and is often not realized because its appearance is not directly visible. This research aims to recognize and understand what forms of trauma responses are often not realized by today's teenagers. These responses include various forms, ranging from symptoms, signs, influencing factors, to coping mechanisms. Being a people pleaser is a form of trauma response that puts the interests of other people before one's own. Fear of abandonment is a form of fear of loss. Hyper-independence is a person's attempt to be completely independent in everything. Trust issues arise when someone has difficulty trusting other people. Keep in mind that overcoming trauma responses takes time and small steps forward. Be gentle with yourself and know that support is always available. Therapy can help over time to get better. Sometimes people are too hard on themselves and ignore unnoticed wounds.
