Urgensi menpelajari ilmu rijalul hadis
Abstract
Hadith is the second source of Islamic law, therefore Hadith needs to be confirmed as true and authentic. As time went by, after the death of the Prophet, there were many words and actions that were attributed to the Prophet. For this reason, the Companions took the initiative to collect and research these things. To find out the authenticity and truth of the Hadith itself, a new science emerged which was the debut of Rijalul Hadith Science which was The urgency is to know the validity of the Hadith, to know whether this Sanad is connected or not, to know if this Hadith is Authentic, to know the attitude or criteria of the Ulama in evaluating it, to avoid the emergence of forgeries of Hadith, to avoid errors in the Hadith being conveyed. Why is the knowledge of Rijalul Hadith really needed in today's life because of the proliferation of fake and weak Hadiths, which arise from several factors, including errors in understanding, or made up to suit the interests of individuals or groups. And how can these Hadiths be spread because considering that during the Prophet's time not all Hadiths were written down, the emergence of Forgers of Hadiths to Benefit Their Group.
