Jejak sejarah dan dinamika perkembangan ilmu nahwu keterkaitannya dengan Bahasa Arab
Abstract
Nahwu science is a linguistic study in which there is a discussion of the most basic rules of the Arabic language. According to history, Ali bin Abi Talib and Abu Aswad ad-Du'ali were the originators of Nahwu science. There is another opinion that says Abdur Rahman Hurmuz al-A'raj and Nasr Asim were the originators of Nahwu science. However, this opinion is not strong, so the majority of scholars agree that ad-Du'ali was the originator of Nahwu science after Ali bin Abi Talib because he was the first to give meaning to the Al-Qur'an. There are two factors behind the emergence of Nahwu science, namely religious and socio-cultural factors. In its development, Nahwu science developed into five schools, namely Basrah, Kufa, Baghdad, Andalusia and Egypt. In Indonesia, Nahwu science is a science for learning Arabic. Nahwu knowledge plays an important role in learning Arabic, because it is used to understand sentence structures using harakat.
