Layanan bimbingan dan konseling MI Khadijah Kota Malang
Abstract
Elementary education, such as Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) and Sekolah Dasar (SD), is a crucial phase in individual development influenced by innate and environmental factors. Student issues, such as declining motivation to learn, emotional instability, individualism, and bullying, have increased with the advancement of time and technology. This study aims to understand the implementation of guidance and counseling services at MI Khadijah in Malang City in addressing student issues and developing their potential. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, involving observation and interviews with guidance and counseling teachers as well as homeroom teachers. The guidance and counseling services provided include orientation, information, individual and group counseling, home visits, character development, and learning motivation. Although these services are already in place, there are challenges in program planning, administration, and effective time allocation for guidance and counseling teachers. Optimization and enhancement of the implementation of guidance and counseling services are necessary to address these challenges and improve the quality of education at MI Khadijah.
