Hubungan IPTEK dengan seni arsitektur dalam Islam
Abstract
Islamic architectural art is not only a manifestation of visual beauty but also reflects the intricate relationship between science and technology with the religious values in Islam. This article discusses the concept of science and technology in the context of Islamic architecture, explaining the Islamic perspective in the Qur’an on the role of architectural art in Muslim society. Through an analysis of Qur’anic verses relating to knowledge and wisdom, we highlight the Islamic perspective on the importance of developing science and technology to assist humans in understanding and utilizing nature wisely. In the context of Muslim society, the development of science and technology and the art of architecture must be balanced with Islamic values that emphasize harmony and humanity. The article not only provides insight into the complex relationship between science and technology and architectural art in Islam but also underscores the importance of integrating spiritual and practical aspects in the development of architectural art rooted In religious values.
