KH. Muhammad Su’ib Abdul Wahab
Abstract
KH. Muhammad Su'ib Abdul Wahab is a kiai who is known to have deep religious knowledge but chooses not to emphasize his religious knowledge. His humble attitude and simplicity earned him respect from many groups, both within the Islamic boarding school and in society. This study examines KH's life journey. Muhammad Su'ib Abdul Wahab, his approach to teaching and preaching, and the impact of his humility on the students and society. The research method used was literature study, in-depth interviews with students and their families. The research results show that the wisdom of KH. Muhammad Su'ib Abdul Wahab was widely recognized by a limited circle of people close to him, but he deliberately avoided publicity and popularity. His humble attitude and sincerity in teaching and serving the community has become an example that inspires many people. Research shows that knowledge accompanied by humility has an important role in shaping the character of religious leaders who are respected and loved by society.
