This study aims to develop an integrative learning model to build comprehensive Arabic competence, through the utilization of learning technology, drill method habituation, and the exploration of modern Islamic literature. The research employs a literature review approach by analyzing key journals concerning the use of technology for constructive interaction, drill techniques to address writing errors, and the role of modern Arabic literature in intercultural competence. Data analysis was conducted qualitatively. The findings indicate that the integration of these three pillars is effective: technology enhances motivation and interactive learning experiences; drill improves linguistic accuracy, particularly writing skills; and literature expands intercultural competence and enriches the understanding of language development. Thus, this integrative model results in a constructive, interactive, and comprehensive learning process.
2026-01-23T00:00:00+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://urj.uin-malang.ac.id/index.php/mij/article/view/14457Analisis Diftong pada Video Ceramah Sayyid Muhammad Al-Alawi menit ke-6 hingga ke-102026-04-02T05:01:42+00:00Shilfina Hidayahshilfinahidayah@gmail.com
In the Arabic language, there are only two diphthong sounds, namely /au/ and /ai/, both of which are classified as rising diphthongs because the first sound is positioned lower than the second sound. This study aims to analyze sentences containing diphthongs in excerpts from a lecture by a prominent scholar. A diphthong is defined as a combination of two vowel sounds pronounced in one breath, and can be distinguished into rising diphthongs and falling diphthongs. The research method used in this study is descriptive qualitative with an ashwat science approach, focusing on the study of diphthongs so that sentences containing diphthongs can be analyzed. The analysis results show that in the YouTube lecture by Sayyid Muhammad, which narrates the story and poetry of the birth of the Prophet Muhammad, there are eighteen sentences containing diphthongs. This research is expected to serve as a useful reference for linguists, language teachers, and students who wish to study the complex aspects of language, and as a development of language rules.
2026-02-20T00:00:00+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://urj.uin-malang.ac.id/index.php/mij/article/view/20897Konsep Time Value of Money dan Economic Value of Time dalam Ekonomi Islam2026-04-02T05:01:42+00:00Muhammad Jimly Assiddiqie230102110031@student.uin-malang.ac.id
The concept of Time Value of Money (TVM) is a cornerstone in conventional finance, stating that the value of money today is greater than the same amount in the future due to inflation, consumption preference, and uncertainty. However, from an Islamic economic perspective, this concept is considered contradictory to the prohibition of riba (usury), as it is seen as deriving profit from time without real economic activity. This paper aims to analyze the fundamental differences between TVM in conventional economics and its Islamic alternative, the Economic Value of Time (EVT). This research employs a literature study method with a descriptive-comparative approach. The analysis reveals that Islam rejects TVM because it views money solely as a medium of exchange and a unit of account, not as a commodity that can reproduce itself. As an alternative, Islam introduces EVT, which emphasizes the economic value derived from utilizing time for productive activities and real transactions. Profit in the Islamic system is generated from tangible economic activities, such as asset sales (Murabahah) or diminishing partnership (Musyarakah Mutanaqisah), not from interest on money loans. The implementation of this concept can be observed in sharia financing products in Indonesia, such as those offered by Bank Syariah Indonesia. This study concludes that this paradigm difference has profound implications for the economic system, where Islamic economics prioritizes justice, risk-sharing, and the circulation of money for collective welfare, contrasting with the interest-based growth orientation in the conventional system.
2026-02-19T00:00:00+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://urj.uin-malang.ac.id/index.php/mij/article/view/13782Talak dan iddah bagi Wanita dalam perspektif islam2026-04-02T05:01:42+00:00diah kumala 29diahkumbang27@gmail.com
This article explains about talak and iddah from an Islamic perspective, the provisions of iddah, and how talak occurs in certain circumstances. Students often face various financial decisions, such as managing their pocket money, using digital financial products, and making spending choices that can affect their long-term financial situation. The problem is that many students have low financial literacy, which can lead to unhealthy financial behaviors. This study aims to analyze how financial literacy affects students' financial behavior. The approach used is a literature review, looking at previous research and academic works, including those from lecturers at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, obtained through the institution's repository. The findings show that financial literacy has a significant impact on students' financial behavior, such as budgeting skills, saving habits, and making rational financial decisions. Students with higher financial literacy tend to have more responsible financial behavior compared to those with lower literacy. Therefore, improving financial literacy through formal and informal education is a strategic solution in shaping healthy and sustainable financial behavior among students.
2026-04-02T00:00:00+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://urj.uin-malang.ac.id/index.php/mij/article/view/25002Epistimologi sebagai Landasan Validitas Pengetahuan2026-04-02T05:01:43+00:00Habibah Munawaroh Munawarohmunawarohhabibah464@gmail.com
Epistemology is one of the main branches of philosophy that discusses the nature of knowledge, its sources, and the criteria of truth used to assess the validity of knowledge. The method used is a literature study with a normative approach through a review of the Qur'an, hadith, and the opinions of scholars and related scientific literature. The results of the study show that in Islam, the state has an obligation to guarantee the welfare of society based on the principles of justice (al-‘adl) and benefit (al-maslahah). Instruments such as zakat, infaq, sadaqah, waqf, and baitul mal play an important role in distributing wealth and protecting vulnerable groups. This practice has been implemented since the time of the Prophet Muhammad SAW and the Khulafaur Rasyidin as a form of state responsibility. This research employed a qualitative case study approach using in-depth interviews, direct observations, and document analysis. The findings reveal that visionary leadership is reflected in the formulation of strategic policies based on a Qur’anic-oriented vision that guides all institutional programs. Transformational leadership emerges through teacher empowerment, collaborative work culture, learning innovations, and the development of an integrated curriculum. Meanwhile, charismatic leadership is evident in spiritual exemplification, religious habituation, persuasive communication, and consistent moral guidance. The combination of these three leadership styles creates a disciplined, religious, modern, and character-oriented educational environment. The integration of curriculum, professional development of teachers, utilization of technology, management of facilities, and financial transparency are effectively implemented due to strong and well-directed leadership. These verses highlight core ethical teachings, including the affirmation of God’s oneness, devotion to parents, the importance of prayer, kindness toward others, and the avoidance of arrogance. When interpreted through Tafsir al-Ibriz by KH. Bisri Musthofa, these values are presented in simple and accessible language that resonates with Javanese cultural nuances, reflecting a localized and grounded style of Qur’anic interpretation. This study examines the concept of akhlāq in Surah Luqman verses 13–19 based on the explanations found in Tafsir al-Ibriz. The commentary interprets these verses using clear, community-friendly language while showcasing a local interpretive character rooted in Javanese socio-cultural values. Using a library research method and a hermeneutical approach, this study explores the moral messages conveyed in the verses. The findings indicate that the concept of akhlāq in Tafsir al-Ibriz does not merely emphasize individual ethics but also contains social messages relevant to modern life, such as maintaining good relations, avoiding arrogance, and grounding every aspect of life in strong monotheistic values.
2026-02-27T00:00:00+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://urj.uin-malang.ac.id/index.php/mij/article/view/25140Optimizing Checks and Balances in the Indonesian Government System2026-04-02T05:01:45+00:00Liza Elyvia Nur Syayyidahfiaeliza727@gmail.com
Following the amendment of the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia, Indonesia's system of government underwent fundamental changes with the affirmation of the principle of separation of powers and the mechanism of checks and balances as the main instruments for limiting state power. This principle is intended to prevent the concentration of power in a single state institution and to ensure democratic, accountable, and constitutional governance. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the checks and balances mechanism in the Indonesian government system and identify factors that hinder its optimization in constitutional practice. The research method used was normative juridical with a legislative and conceptual approach, through a literature study of the 1945 Constitution, related legislation, Constitutional Court decisions, and literature in the form of books and scientific journals. The results of the study show that, normatively, the checks and balances mechanism has been regulated quite comprehensively through the relationship between the executive, legislative, and judicial branches, and is reinforced by the existence of independent state institutions. However, in practice, this mechanism has not been running optimally. The main obstacles include the dominance of executive power, the weak supervisory function of the legislature due to political configurations and large coalitions, the low independence and professionalism of supervisory institutions, weak compliance with Constitutional Court decisions, and a legal and political culture that does not fully uphold constitutional supremacy. Therefore, optimizing checks and balances requires not only regulatory strengthening, but also political reform, institutional strengthening, and the development of a sustainable constitutional culture.
2026-02-27T00:00:00+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://urj.uin-malang.ac.id/index.php/mij/article/view/25141Korelasi intensitas penggunaan media sosial dengan ketidakpuasan tubuh dan depresi: Tinjauan psikologi sosial2026-04-02T05:01:45+00:00Muhamad Ali Wahyu Dwi Laksonomhwahyudwilaksono@gmail.com
The rapid development of social media has significantly influenced the way individuals perceive their bodies and psychological well-being. High intensity of social media use, particularly on visually oriented platforms, increases exposure to idealized body standards that are often unrealistic. This study aims to review the relationship between social media use intensity, body dissatisfaction, and depression from a social psychological perspective. The method employed is a literature review of national and international studies examining social media use, body image, and mental health among adolescents and young adults. The findings indicate that intensive social media use is significantly associated with increased body dissatisfaction through mechanisms of social comparison, internalization of ideal body standards, and self-objectification. Body dissatisfaction subsequently emerges as an important risk factor for depressive symptoms. Gender, age, and cultural context influence the strength of the relationships among these variables. In conclusion, social media functions as a powerful agent of socialization in shaping body perceptions and mental health. Therefore, preventive efforts and interventions emphasizing media literacy, the promotion of positive body image, and healthy social media use are essential to reduce negative impacts on mental health.
2026-02-27T00:00:00+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://urj.uin-malang.ac.id/index.php/mij/article/view/17503Konsep self-awareness dalam al-nafs al-lawwāmah2026-04-02T05:01:45+00:00Nabilah Almasdukinabilahalmasduki22@gmail.comMoh. Fiqh, as an essential component of Islamic teachings, regulates various aspects of Muslim life, including worship, social transactions, and community affairs. Following the golden era of the great madhhab imams in the 2nd to 4th centuries Hijri, the development of fiqh experienced stagnation marked by the dominance of taqlid (blind adherence) and the perceived closure of the gate of ijtihad. Political instability, the fall of major Islamic intellectual centers, sectarian fanaticism, and the separation between religious and rational sciences were among the primary factors contributing to this decline. Prior to this period, fiqh flourished during the Umayyad and Abbasid eras, witnessing the emergence of major schools of law such as Hanafi, Maliki, Shafi‘i, and Hanbali, which enriched the methodological foundations of usul al-fiqh. In the 18th and 19th centuries, reform movements emerged in response to prolonged stagnation and modern challenges. Reformist scholars advocated reopening the gate of ijtihad, returning to the Qur'an and Sunnah, and applying the maqasid al-shariah approach to address contemporary issues
2026-02-27T00:00:00+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://urj.uin-malang.ac.id/index.php/mij/article/view/21357Peran Artificial Intelligence dalam transformasi pembelajaran di perguruan tinggi2026-04-02T05:01:45+00:00Muhammad Ali nur Ardhi230605110048@student.uin-malang.ac.id
The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into the higher education ecosystem has triggered a fundamental paradigm shift from a "one-size-fits-all" model to highly personalized adaptive learning. This study aims to critically analyze AI adoption trends, identify emerging ethical and technical barriers, and project long-term implications for the academic landscape and future labor market. Using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method within the PRISMA framework, this research synthesizes data from 50 selected articles to perform a comprehensive analysis of the effectiveness of technologies such as Large Language Models (LLM), Intelligent Tutoring Systems (ITS), and Predictive Analytics. The analysis shows that AI integration can improve administrative efficiency by up to 40% and student engagement by 35% through precise real-time feedback mechanisms. However, significant multidimensional challenges were found, including the "black box" algorithm phenomenon (algorithmic bias), data privacy risks, and academic integrity crises due to uncontrolled Generative AI usage. These findings indicate that the future of higher education does not depend on total automation, but on a hybrid collaboration model (human-in-the-loop), where AI functions as a cognitive copilot extending human intellectual capacity. Courses such as Basic Construction, Basic Aesthetics, and Introduction to Architecture are the main foundation in this process. This article provides a discussion related to and integration of these materials in building the understanding of architectural engineering students, especially in the context of learning at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. In all discussions it shows that the understanding of construction elements such as foundations, beams, columns, and roofs requires a journey that is in harmony with the mastery of the aesthetic aspects of two dimensions, color, nirmana, and 3D composition of nature. In addition, the concept of transformation in the introduction to architecture and the value of Rahmatan lil Alamin play a role in providing insight into how to form designs that are not only functional and aesthetic but also have humanitarian and sustainable values. This study uses a qualitative approach with a literature review method, through the examination of scientific journals and relevant literature on mosque architecture, iconography, and Islamic-Javanese culture. The results show that the Menara Kudus Mosque is a tangible representation of the success of Islamic preaching through a cultural approach, as seen in the temple-style tower structure, the use of red bricks, twin gate ornaments, and a triple roof. These elements contain symbolic values that reflect the harmony between local aesthetics and Islamic spirituality. In addition to being a place of worship, this mosque serves as a center for socio-religious activities and the preservation of local traditions, thereby strengthening a moderate and inclusive Javanese Islamic identity. Thus, the Menara Kudus Mosque is important evidence of how cultural acculturation plays a role in shaping the character of Islamic civilization in the archipelago.
2026-03-13T08:22:49+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://urj.uin-malang.ac.id/index.php/mij/article/view/25212Teosofi sebagai instrumen transformasi intelektual dalam dinamika sektarianisme islam dan upaya mencapai kebenaran universal2026-04-02T05:01:46+00:00MAULIDIYAH NURIZZAH INTAN SARI240102110155@student.uin-malang.ac.id
This article examines the emergence of various sects in Islam, which were not only triggered by political conflicts following the death of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), but also developed into deeper theological debates and intellectual discourse. Initially, the divisions were rooted in issues of leadership and political authority. However, over time, these discussions expanded to address fundamental questions such as faith, destiny, free will, and the nature of God. In this development, theosophy, or al-hikmah al-ilahiyyah (divine wisdom), plays an important role as a comprehensive approach to understanding the divine, integrating rational reasoning with spiritual experience and inner contemplation. Groups such as the Khawarij, Murji’ah, Mu’tazilah, Qadariyah, Jabariyah, and Ash’ariyah developed their theological perspectives through this lens in order to strengthen their respective religious identities. The growth of these intellectual traditions was also influenced by interactions with external philosophical ideas and by shifts in theological paradigms—from a purely theocentric focus toward approaches that also respond to social realities and human needs. In everyday religious practice, theosophy is reflected in the tradition of Sufism, both in the moderate Sunni form and in Salafi-oriented interpretations, which similarly emphasize the purification of the soul (tazkiyatun nafs). Ultimately, theosophy functions as a bridge that balances the outward (zahir) and inward (batin) dimensions of Islamic teachings.
2026-03-13T08:04:12+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://urj.uin-malang.ac.id/index.php/mij/article/view/19854Etika profesi kedokteran dalam perspektif literatur medis islami2026-04-02T05:01:46+00:00Yahya Alfianarashita31@gmail.com
The ethics of the medical profession in Islam serves as a moral and spiritual guideline that directs physicians to act based on Islamic values. This ethical framework emphasizes not only professional responsibility toward patients but also sincerity, trustworthiness (amanah), and compassion in providing healthcare services. Core principles such as the protection of life (hifz an-nafs), honesty, justice, and patient confidentiality form the foundation of Islamic medical practice. Beyond its function as an individual moral guide, Islamic medical ethics also carries a broad social dimension. Physicians are regarded as individuals who bear great responsibility for the welfare of society. Thus, a doctor’s role extends beyond healing diseases to include protecting life and promoting humanitarian values. These values distinguish Islamic medical ethics from conventional medical ethics, which often focus primarily on professional competence rather than spiritual accountability. Applying Islamic medical ethics in the modern era presents challenges amid technological advances and the globalization of values. Integrating modern medical science with Islamic ethical principles is essential to ensure that healthcare remains oriented toward the benefit (maslahah) of humanity. By understanding and practicing Islamic medical ethics comprehensively, medical professionals can provide services that are not only professional and empathetic but also spiritually meaningful, achieving harmony between medical, moral, and spiritual dimensions in healthcare practice.
2026-03-13T07:09:41+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://urj.uin-malang.ac.id/index.php/mij/article/view/20859Peran motivasi dalam meningkatkan kinerja karyawan2026-04-02T05:01:46+00:00Inayatul Nurlailiinayatul.nl8@gmail.com
Motivation is an important factor that encourages employees to work better in achieving organizational goals. One of the prominent figures in this reform movement was Qasim Amin, who is widely known for his ideas on women's emancipation and education. This study aims to analyze the socio-historical background of Egyptian society during the time of Qasim Amin and to examine his main ideas concerning the position and role of women in society. The research employs a qualitative method with a library research approach by analyzing various literature sources related to Islamic reform and the thought of Qasim Amin. The findings indicate that Qasim Amin’s ideas emerged as a response to the social conditions of Egyptian society, which still restricted women's roles, particularly in education and public life. Through his influential works such as Tahrir al-Mar’ah and Al-Mar’ah al-Jadidah, Qasim Amin emphasized the importance of women's education, criticized social practices that limited women's freedom, and called for a reinterpretation of Islamic teachings related to women's rights and roles. These ideas generated diverse reactions from society, ranging from strong support to significant criticism. The method used in writing this paper is a literature review by examining various theories, empirical studies, and experts' views on religiosity and mental health. The results of the study show that religiosity has a positive contribution to an individual's mental health through several psychological mechanisms, such as meaning-making, coping strategies for stress, social support from religious communities, and the ability to regulate oneself through spiritual practices. In the Islamic perspective, values such as tawakal (trust in God), sabar (patience), syukur (gratitude), and ikhlas (sincerity) play an important role in helping individuals manage their emotions and face various challenges in life. The integration of psychological approaches and Islamic spiritual values provides a more holistic understanding of human mental health. This convenience brings many benefits, but it also fosters an instant culture, namely the tendency to seek quick answers without going through the processes of understanding, examining, and verifying information. This instant culture negatively affects the quality of knowledge because understanding often remains superficial and weakens critical thinking skills in evaluating information. In the digital era, the challenge becomes even greater as hoaxes and disinformation spread easily due to low verification habits and the influence of viral content, which attracts more attention than scientific information that requires deeper reasoning. In this context, the philosophy of science serves as a critique of instant culture by emphasizing that knowledge is not merely information, but must be supported by rationality, scientific methods, evidence, and logical consistency. The philosophy of science also highlights the importance of academic ethics, such as scientific integrity and responsibility in sharing information. Therefore, strengthening information literacy, developing the habit of checking sources, and cultivating critical thinking are essential efforts so that society can use technology wisely and produce knowledge that is more valid and accountable.
2026-03-11T07:33:25+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://urj.uin-malang.ac.id/index.php/mij/article/view/20949Krisis moral di era digital dan tantangan etika bagi mahasiswa2026-04-02T05:01:47+00:00rheno rantau putra250401110082@student.uin-malang.ac.id
The challenge that students must face today is the moral and ethical crisis in the digital era. Technological developments in the digital era have brought many conveniences to the academic process, such as fast access to information, and the presence of artificial intelligence. However, this convenience also creates new challenges for students, especially in terms of academic ethics. Phenomena such as plagiarism, academic dishonesty, data manipulation, and the use of technology without considering moral responsibility are increasingly emerging issues in higher education environments. Through the perspectives of ontology, epistemology, and axiology in the philosophy of science, the moral crisis can be explained as the result of the use of knowledge that does not adhere to ethical values. Knowledge should be developed through wise means and used responsibly. The crisis arises when students view technology merely as a tool for achieving quick results without regard for honesty and integrity. To address this problem, students need to cultivate ethical self-awareness, while educational institutions also play a role in strengthening moral development, digital literacy, and enforcing academic regulations. The integration of science and morality is crucial for digital technology to be utilized wisely and to create an ethical, honest, and responsible academic culture.
2026-03-11T06:55:20+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://urj.uin-malang.ac.id/index.php/mij/article/view/20440Tindak tutur ilokusi dalam cerpen Arinillah karya Taufiq Al Hakim2026-04-02T05:01:47+00:00uswatun - khasanahuswatunsanah30@gmail.com
This study aims to describe the forms and types of illocutionary speech acts found in the short story Arinillah by Taufiq Al Hakim through a pragmatic approach. Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is a mental health condition that can develop after experiencing or witnessing a traumatic event, such as combat or sexual abuse. Individuals with PTSD often struggle to cope with the traumatic experience, which is triggered by factors unique to each person, causing symptoms such as anxiety, panic attacks, and flashbacks. Areas such as the hippocampus, amygdala, and prefrontal cortex are thought to be affected by PTSD. The purpose of this review is to analyze how trauma, particularly childhood trauma, affects the brain's neuroanatomy and gives rise to the clinical manifestations of PTSD. The study results indicate that PTSD comprises two constructs: neurological hypersensitivity and psychological hypersensitivity. Based on these constructs, it can be understood that PTSD is related to the brain’s neurobiological systems. Possible trearment steps include reducing emotional responses, encouraging recollection and “coming to terms” with the event, developing more effective coping strategies, and addressing residual issues.
2026-03-11T03:27:09+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://urj.uin-malang.ac.id/index.php/mij/article/view/25188Menghidupkan kebaikan dengan animasi 3D inspiratif tentang bersedekah2026-04-02T05:01:48+00:00Yudha Pramana Putra220605110141@student.uin-malang.ac.id
This study explores the use of 3D animation to convey social and moral messages about giving charity. The decision affirms that national elections and regional head elections can no longer be held simultaneously, but must instead be separated in order to align with the principles of effective administration, legal certainty, and the protection of citizens’ political rights. This change emerged in response to the complexity of the 2019 simultaneous elections, which resulted in excessive workloads for election administrators, a high potential for administrative errors, and a decline in the quality of voter participation. This article aims to comprehensively examine the juridical and practical implications of the decision for the architecture of national electoral simultaneity. Employing normative legal research methods through statutory, conceptual, and judicial decision approaches, the study analyzes how the legal construction embodied in Constitutional Court Decision No. 135 reshapes the regulation of electoral simultaneity under the Election Law. The findings indicate that separating national elections from regional elections gives rise to three main implications. First, there is a repositioning of the norm of simultaneity that necessitates adjustments to the constitutional calendar, particularly with regard to the nomination stages and the terms of office of public officials. Second, such separation creates opportunities to improve the quality of election administration, as the focus and workload of election organizers become more proportionate. Third, this change affects national and local political configurations, since the cycles of political legitimacy at the central and regional levels no longer operate concurrently. The study concludes that Constitutional Court Decision No. 135 not only addresses technical issues of election administration, but also provides a new direction for a more systematic and sustainable model of Indonesia’s electoral democratic governance.
2026-02-24T00:00:00+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://urj.uin-malang.ac.id/index.php/mij/article/view/20673Peran Keluarga dalam Membentuk Karakter Pancasila pada Anak2026-04-02T05:01:49+00:00Hanny Amari'a Zulianti Halius240401110085@student.uin-malang.ac.id
Education within the family plays a very important role as the main foundation in shaping a child's personality and character. Integrity-based leadership can be realized through the internalization of divine values, respect for human dignity, collective commitment, deliberative principles, and social justice. Nevertheless, its implementation faces challenges such as political pragmatism, weak role modeling, and insufficient character education. This study concludes that strengthening leadership integrity requires revitalizing Pancasila education, ensuring consistent law enforcement, and promoting synergy between state institutions and educational bodies. Therefore, Pancasila remains an essential ethical and normative foundation for developing national leadership that is clean and integrity-driven.
2026-01-30T00:00:00+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://urj.uin-malang.ac.id/index.php/mij/article/view/20564Proses morfologi derivasional dan infleksional dalam perkembangan struktur kata2026-04-02T05:01:49+00:00yurin syafa maulidia240103110033@student.uin-malang.ac.id
This study examines in depth the processes of derivational and inflectional morphology in Indonesian. Derivational morphology is the process of producing new lexemes through the addition of affixes that can change word classes and basic meanings. Meanwhile, inflectional morphology functions to change word forms without creating new meanings, but regulates the role of words in grammatical structures. This article discusses the differences in concepts, characteristics, and examples of their application in everyday life. Derivational morphology focuses more on developing understanding, while inflection plays a role in maintaining grammatical regularity. These two processes complement each other in the Indonesian morphological system, particularly in the formation of meaning, sentence structure, and language productivity. This study uses a descriptive-qualitative approach with linguistic analysis methods on linguistic data obtained from written texts and spoken Indonesian. The data were analyzed by identifying forms of affixation, reduplication, and morphemic changes that represent derivational and inflectional processes. The results of the study indicate that derivational processes tend to be productive in the formation of new vocabulary, especially in the realms of education, media, and everyday communication, while inflectional processes play an important role in maintaining the clarity of syntactic functions and grammatical relationships between elements in sentences. Thus, understanding these two morphological processes is not only important in theoretical studies, but also has practical implications in Indonesian language learning, particularly in improving language competence and awareness of language structure in speakers.
2026-02-02T00:00:00+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://urj.uin-malang.ac.id/index.php/mij/article/view/20386Prokrastinasi akademik dan motivasi belajar2026-04-02T05:01:49+00:00Siti Mariska Wulandarisitimariskawulandari@gmail.com
This study examines the relationship between academic procrastination and learning motivation by analyzing internal and external factors such as self-regulation, family support, peer influence, learning independence, and social media usage. Infinity is a concept used to describe something that has no boundaries. According to the ancient Greeks, the concept of infinity in the real world can be observed through three aspects: time, which appears to have no end; space and time, which can be divided endlessly; and space, which has no limits. In mathematics, this concept is used to represent numbers that are extremely large or extremely small. Infinity is commonly applied in various mathematical fields, such as geometry, calculus, number theory, and others. For example, in calculus, the concept of infinity is used to describe the behavior of a function as its value approaches a certain point when the variable becomes unbounded. This notion of unboundedness is comparable to the boundlessness of Allah SWT, the Lord of the universe. Just as functions with unbounded variables have no limits, the universe created by Him is also limitless. No one knows the boundaries or the vastness of Allah SWT’s creation. Integrating the mathematical concept of infinity with the concept of God’s boundlessness can help enhance the quality of one’s faith. Through a library research approach, various perspectives from scholars can be examined. The concept of infinity in mathematics describes something without limits and is used to understand phenomena such as the behavior of functions at certain values. This understanding can be linked to the attribute of Allah SWT’s boundlessness, thereby strengthening faith in His greatness.
2026-03-10T04:10:42+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://urj.uin-malang.ac.id/index.php/mij/article/view/25198Potret demokrasi Indonesia2026-04-02T05:01:50+00:00wendry prayodawewen11111111@gmail.com
Democracy in Indonesia is a system of government that places the people as the holders of supreme sovereignty in the life of the nation and state. The central problem of this study is how these three issues reflect the state’s failure to consistently fulfill its human rights obligations whether in preventing excessive restrictions, providing adequate protection, or ensuring social justice. This research employs a conceptual approach with comparative and evaluative analysis of legal frameworks, empirical findings, and human rights literature. The analytical technique involves identifying policy interrelations and reassessing the state’s role in safeguarding civil liberties. The main findings indicate that the state tends to be repressive in matters of religious freedom, weak in child protection, and ineffective in addressing the structural roots of radicalism. These inconsistencies form a single pattern of regulatory disharmony that directly contributes to citizens’ vulnerability. Civil liberties reform thus becomes an urgent necessity. The findings imply the need for a regulatory framework that is more aligned with human rights principles and better able to protect citizens in a fair, balanced, and sustainable manner.
2026-03-10T00:00:00+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://urj.uin-malang.ac.id/index.php/mij/article/view/25201Pengaruh religiositas terhadap kesehatan mental2026-04-02T05:01:51+00:00Intan Nala Zulfa220401110071@student.uin-malang.ac.id
This paper discusses the relationship between religiosity and mental health through the integration of psychological and Islamic perspectives. Religiosity is understood as an individual's involvement in beliefs, worship practices, spiritual experiences, religious knowledge, and their implications in daily life. Meanwhile, mental health refers to a state of psychological well-being that enables individuals to manage their emotions, cope with stress, and function optimally in social life. This study shows that religiosity can act as a protective factor for mental health through several psychological mechanisms, such as meaning-making, religious coping strategies, social support from religious communities, and self-regulation through spiritual practices. In the Islamic perspective, values such as tawakal (trust in God), sabar (patience), syukur (gratitude), and ikhlas (sincerity) have an important contribution in building mental well-being. The integration of empirical psychological approaches and Islamic spiritual values results in a more holistic understanding of human mental health. The findings of the study show that higher levels of religiosity tend to correlate with better psychological conditions, such as lower levels of stress, anxiety, and depression, as well as increased well-being. Therefore, an approach that combines psychological and spiritual aspects is considered relevant for developing a more comprehensive mental health intervention model, especially in communities with a strong religious background.
2026-03-10T03:16:25+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://urj.uin-malang.ac.id/index.php/mij/article/view/13057Interpretasi ayat Al-Qur’an dan hadis2026-04-02T05:01:51+00:00Nahdliyatul Ilmiyahnahdliyatulilmiyah8@gmail.comAmelda Zakiyyaameldazakiyya123@gmail.com
This paper explores the importance of environmental and nature conservation from the perspective of the Qur'an and Hadith. As the primary guide for Muslims, the Qur'an teaches that humans have a responsibility to maintain balance and sustainability on Earth. In Islam, the relationship between humans and nature is interconnected, where caring for and preserving the environment is considered an act of worship to Allah SWT. Environmental degradation, whether caused by natural factors or human actions, is a critical issue that requires serious attention. Research findings reveal that there are ten verses in the Qur'an explicitly commanding environmental conservation, such as QS. Al-A'raf: 56, which prohibits acts of destruction on Earth. Furthermore, the Hadith of the Prophet emphasizes the importance of actions such as planting trees, even in dire situations like the approach of the Day of Judgment. This paper, using a qualitative descriptive approach, examines Qur'anic verses and Hadiths related to environmental preservation, as well as the negative impacts of neglecting this responsibility. The emphasis on concrete actions, such as reforestation and natural resource management, reflects the commitment of Muslims to fulfilling their role as responsible stewards of the Earth.
2026-03-10T00:00:00+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://urj.uin-malang.ac.id/index.php/mij/article/view/25204Mendekonstruksi bias dalam kurikulum2026-04-02T05:01:51+00:00Zahwah Fazat Minnatakazahwaminnataka865@gmail.com
The national curriculum often carries hidden biases that ignore sociogeographic diversity, particularly in the 3T (Frontier, Outermost, and Disadvantaged) regions. Because of this, users can be harmed through mental and psychological methods. This study looks at how body shaming has increased through social media and examines it through the lens of Hadith. From the Hadith, it is clear that insulting someone's body is not allowed in Islamic teachings, as it goes against good behavior and can hurt others. Several Hadiths stress this, such as the one where the Prophet reprimanded Aisha for commenting on Syafiyah's appearance, the advice to speak kindly or wisely, and the warning against the behavior of Ibn Masud. These Hadiths align with the values found in the Qur'an, specifically in Surah Al-Hujurat verse 11 and Surah Al-Humazah verse 1. AI offers convenience, efficiency, and speed in completing tasks that previously required substantial human intellectual effort. Nevertheless, alongside these benefits, serious concerns have emerged regarding the negative consequences of excessive AI usage, particularly in relation to increasing digital dependency, cognitive laziness, and the decline of human brain performance. This article aims to conceptually analyze the relationship between advancements in AI and the phenomena of digital laziness and declining reasoning abilities. The research employs a literature review method by examining relevant scholarly sources, including books and academic journal articles in the fields of technology, psychology, and education. The findings indicate that the dominance of AI in performing cognitive tasks—such as information retrieval, data analysis, and content generation—may reduce individuals’ engagement in critical thinking processes, weaken memory capacity, diminish creativity, and lower motivation to engage in independent intellectual effort. Moreover, excessive reliance on AI contributes to the emergence of an instant-oriented culture that encourages individuals to avoid deep and reflective thinking processes. In the long term, this condition may negatively affect intellectual quality and mental well-being. Therefore, this article emphasizes the importance of using AI in a balanced and responsible manner by positioning technology as a supportive tool rather than a substitute for human cognitive abilities. Flavonoids neutralize ROS and inhibit PI3K activation, preventing Akt activation. This condition suppresses NF-κB activation that regulates BCL-2 expression. Consequently, the inhibition of this pathway reduces anti-apoptotic gene expression and promotes apoptosis in cancer cells. Therefore, Ajwa date flavonoids have potential as a targeted natural therapy for breast cancer treatment.
2026-03-09T02:33:54+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://urj.uin-malang.ac.id/index.php/mij/article/view/24978Kebersihan lingkungan dan badan sebagai peningkatan kualitas sumber daya manusia2026-04-02T05:01:53+00:00Salma Zakiyyatul Fuadahsaalmaa678@gmail.com
Cleanliness is an important aspect of life that includes personal hygiene and environmental hygiene. Both must be maintained in balance because they influence health, comfort, and quality of life. Good personal hygiene can prevent disease, increase self-confidence, and provide positive effects on physical and psychological conditions. In contrast, poor personal hygiene can cause health problems, social issues, and economic burdens. An unclean environment also becomes a place for harmful microorganisms to grow and can reduce community productivity. The low level of public awareness about cleanliness shows the need for education and the development of clean living habits from an early age. By maintaining personal and environmental cleanliness properly, a healthy, comfortable, and high-quality life can be achieved for individuals and society.
2026-03-09T02:01:28+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://urj.uin-malang.ac.id/index.php/mij/article/view/25196Pengaruh hubungan tanpa status terhadap pembentukan identitas diri remaja2026-04-02T05:01:53+00:00Farida Nafis Sholehahparidaaimut@gmail.com
The phenomenon of statusless relationships (HTS) has seen a significant increase among adolescents in line with the rapid advancement of social media technology. These relationships are characterized by deep emotional bonds without certainty of commitment and defined relationship status, thus risking affecting the development of adolescents' self-identity. This study aims to examine the impact of statusless relationships on the process of adolescent self-identity formation, by analyzing the contribution of social media in establishing this interaction pattern as a social norm. The methodological approach applied was a literature review of various national and international journals and related scientific publications, including sources from the UIN Malang repository. The research findings revealed that statusless relationships can cause internal conflict in adolescents, such as role ambiguity, emotional fluctuations, and difficulties in determining personal boundaries. Social media platforms also amplify unclear relationships through high frequency of digital interactions without an explicit commitment framework. The conclusion of this study emphasizes that relationship certainty and emotional literacy skills are crucial elements in supporting the formation of a harmonious adolescent self-identity in the digital era.
2026-03-09T00:00:00+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://urj.uin-malang.ac.id/index.php/mij/article/view/25182Mengasuh dengan keteladanan2026-04-02T05:01:53+00:00riska ainul rohmahriskanlrohmah1210@gmail.com
Early childhood education is a crucial phase that determines the development of a child's character and spirituality. From an Islamic perspective, the exemplary method (uswah hasanah) is the main foundation in shaping children's behavior. This article aims to describe the exemplary practices of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) as a relevant educational model for Early Childhood Islamic Education (PIAUD) institutions. The method used is a literature study by reviewing journals and relevant scientific references. The results of the study indicate that compassion, respect for children, behavioral consistency, and giving age-appropriate responsibilities are principles that can be adapted in modern learning. The implementation of this method in PIAUD includes emotional, social, religious, and character modeling through habituation in the school environment. The conclusion of this study confirms that the Prophet's exemplary role is not only historical, but remains effective in contemporary education to foster noble morals and holistic development in children.
2026-03-06T00:00:00+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://urj.uin-malang.ac.id/index.php/mij/article/view/20910Pancasila dan pluralisme Indonesia2026-04-02T05:01:53+00:00Santi Maya Sulistyawati250503110039@student.uin-malang.ac.id
This article discusses the important role of Pancasila as the foundation of pluralism in Indonesia and the importance of strategies to strengthen tolerance among religious communities and social integration. Indonesia is a nation with a diversity of ethnic groups, regional languages, and officially recognized religions. This diversity is an important asset but also a challenge in maintaining unity in religious tolerance. Pancasila contributes to the ideology of a country that emphasizes the importance of differences, so that pluralism is not only a recognition of the existence of other religions, but also an active connection to build harmony among religious communities. This article emphasizes that religious tolerance and social integration are key to preventing social conflict and radicalism that arise from a lack of appreciation for differences between religious communities. Religious tolerance, as discussed by the government, is an important guideline for balancing relations between majority and minority groups. In addition, multicultural psychology plays an active role in shaping individuals who are aware of diversity. In this era of globalization, Pancasila faces new challenges from external ideologies and technological developments. Critical reflection is needed to reorganize Pancasila so that it remains relevant in addressing issues such as social inequality and digital transformation.

2026-03-06T00:00:00+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://urj.uin-malang.ac.id/index.php/mij/article/view/25035Edukasi parenting cerdas sebagai upaya peningkatan kesehatan anak era modern2026-04-02T05:01:53+00:00ariqoh faizta nurainiariqohfaizta2005@gmail.com
Child health problems in the modern era are becoming increasingly complex due to significant changes in parenting patterns, rapid technological development, and the limited understanding of many parents regarding appropriate and holistic child care. The widespread use of digital devices, unhealthy eating habits, and reduced parent–child interaction have contributed to various physical, emotional, and developmental issues among children. This situation is also experienced by the community of Sengguruh Village, which continues to face multiple challenges in maintaining optimal child health and development, particularly in terms of nutrition, hygiene practices, and early health prevention efforts. This study aims to analyze the role of smart parenting education as a strategic effort to improve child health within the Sengguruh Village community. The research employed a qualitative approach using a case study design, with data collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation involving parents, health cadres, and village officials. The findings reveal that smart parenting education significantly enhances parents’ knowledge and awareness of healthy parenting practices, balanced nutrition, proper hygiene, and early prevention of child health problems. Furthermore, noticeable positive changes were observed in parents’ attitudes and behaviors, as they became more responsive, attentive, and proactive in supporting their children’s well-being. Therefore, smart parenting education plays a vital role and should be continuously implemented through collaborative village-level initiatives.
2026-03-06T00:00:00+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://urj.uin-malang.ac.id/index.php/mij/article/view/21792Ideologi Pancasila Sebagai Ideologi journey, particularly the Hijrah, in order to strengthen relationships between citizens at the local level. This research was prompted by the phenomenon of social conflict in rural areas triggered by differences in background. Using qualitative methods through literature study, it was found that the Prophet's strategy in uniting the Muhajirin and Anshar and the implementation of the Medina Charter were forms of “humanitarian diplomacy” that are relevant to rural communities. Principles such as respect for neighbors' rights, mutual cooperation, and the tradition of deliberation are key to creating peace. This study concludes that the Prophet's example is a real guide for building a harmonious and tolerant village ecosystem.
2026-03-06T00:00:00+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://urj.uin-malang.ac.id/index.php/mij/article/view/23221Analisis dampak sistematik sampah plastik terhadap kualitas lingkungan di indonesia2026-04-02T05:01:54+00:00Najwa Salsabillasalsabillanajwa38@gmail.com
Indonesia, the world's fourth most populous country, faces a significant increase in plastic waste, particularly from non-biodegradable household packaging. This situation triggers pollution in marine, terrestrial, and air ecosystems through the accumulation of microplastics, destruction of mangrove and coral reef habitats, and hazardous emissions such as dioxins from open burning. This study aims to examine the systemic impact of plastic pollution and its implications for economic losses estimated at Rp175 trillion per year using secondary data analysis from various national journals. The study results show a 20–30 percent decline in fish stocks, an increase in coastal erosion of up to 25 percent, and a surge in health costs due to exposure to PM2.5 particles. The application of the reduce, reuse, recycle (3R) principle has been proven to reduce waste accumulation by up to 30 percent and strengthen the development of the blue economy through PET and HDPE recycling, as well as increasing marine tourism by 35 percent. In addition, policy support such as Presidential Regulation 83/2018, Extended Producer Responsibility, plastic taxes, and strengthening waste banks are important foundations for realizing a circular economy that aligns with SDG 14.
2026-03-05T00:00:00+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://urj.uin-malang.ac.id/index.php/mij/article/view/24943Program Program khitanan massal berbasis masjid sebagai pengabdian masyarakat berkelanjutan2026-04-02T05:01:54+00:00YUNI RIZKY FAITUL MUNAWAROHnniiyyuu4@gmail.com
Mass circumcision initiatives reflect the mosque’s social function in supporting community welfare by extending its activities beyond religious worship to include social services, economic assistance, and religious education. Slamparejo Village, Jabung District, Malang Regency, is an area that has shown a downward trend in stunting rates in recent years. This study aims to analyze the determinants influencing the decline in stunting rates in Slamparejo Village through a public health approach and family empowerment. The method used is a descriptive-qualitative approach with data collection through field observations, interviews with village officials, integrated health post (Posyandu) cadres, and health program documentation. The results show that the decline in stunting rates is influenced by several main factors, namely increased coverage of Posyandu services, nutrition education for pregnant women and mothers of toddlers, provision of supplementary feeding (PMT), routine growth monitoring, and active family involvement in meeting children's nutritional needs. In addition, cross-sectoral support such as from the village government, community health centers, and health cadres is a strengthening factor in the program's success. The study's conclusions indicate that the reduction in stunting in Slamparejo Village is influenced not only by health interventions but also by family awareness of childcare, balanced nutrition, and increased community participation. The sustainability of the program and strengthening the role of families need to be continuously promoted as key strategies for long-term stunting prevention.
2026-02-10T00:00:00+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://urj.uin-malang.ac.id/index.php/mij/article/view/24976Implementasi program KKM dalam pencegahan bullying di lingkungan SDN 01 Karanganyar dusun Baran2026-04-02T05:01:55+00:00Ni'ma Salsabilanimasalsabila09@gmail.com
Bullying is a social problem that is still frequently found in elementary school environments and can negatively affect students’ psychological, social, and learning development. Children's lack of understanding about additives such as synthetic dyes, preservatives, artificial sweeteners, and toxic chemicals makes them vulnerable to health problems. Furthermore, parenting and communication patterns play a significant role in shaping children's knowledge and consumption behavior. Many parents are unaware of the importance of providing education about food safety and reading food labels, resulting in children often making consumption choices without considering health. Furthermore, information conveyed through counseling or learning media at school will not be optimal without the active support of parents as the first educators at home. Based on these conditions, this article was written to examine how communication and parenting patterns can improve children's understanding of the dangers of chemicals in food and how more effective educational strategies can be developed in the modern era.
2026-03-06T00:00:00+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://urj.uin-malang.ac.id/index.php/mij/article/view/24959Optimalisasi manajemen masjid Noor kidul pasar melalui Program Kerja Mahasiswa KKM2026-04-02T05:01:55+00:00Guntur adi pangestugunturjjjh@gmail.com
Masjid tidak hanya difungsikan sebagai tempat peribadahan, tetapi juga menjadi pusat kegiatan keagamaan dan sosial masyarakat yang memerlukan pengelolaan manajemen yang tertib dan profesional. In this context, the study of epistemology is crucial to examine how Western and Islamic traditions contribute to the understanding of science. Western epistemology tends to emphasize rationality and empirical experience as the basis of knowledge, while Islamic epistemology integrates revelation, reason, and intuition, resulting in a more comprehensive approach. This research employed a literature review method, examining literature discussing Islamic and Western epistemology. The results indicate that Islamic epistemology has three main approaches: bayani (textual), burhani (rational), and irfani (intuitive), while Western epistemology focuses more on rational and empirical verification. Both approaches have their respective advantages and can complement each other. The integration of Islamic and Western epistemologies is expected to produce a scientific paradigm relevant to the challenges of the technological revolution. Their collaboration will not only address the needs of modern technology but also uphold the values of humanity and monotheism. By combining Western rationality and systematization with the spiritual dimension and values of Islam, science can develop in a balanced way, so that it answers practical needs but is also able to maintain aspects of humanity and faith.
2026-02-03T00:00:00+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://urj.uin-malang.ac.id/index.php/mij/article/view/24954Asal-usul dan makna angka2026-04-02T05:01:56+00:00Husnul Khotimahitz.hsnl01@gmail.com
This study explores the origins and meanings behind numbers through a literature-based approach that traces the development of numeral systems from early civilizations to the modern era. The main focus of this research includes the invention of the concept of zero by the Indians, the role of Islamic civilization in transmitting and advancing the Indian numeral system, and the process by which this system entered Europe and eventually became known as Arabic numerals. Beyond the historical perspective, this study examines the mathematical and symbolic meanings of numbers across various cultures, demonstrating that numbers function not only as tools for calculation but also as symbols reflecting cultural worldviews and belief systems. The findings indicate that the development of numbers is a long evolutionary process shaped by practical needs, cultural contexts, and intellectual progress. Understanding the history of numbers is relevant to contemporary numeracy, particularly in improving society’s ability to interpret numerical information critically. Therefore, integrating historical and cultural perspectives into mathematics education is recommended to strengthen conceptual understanding and enhance numeracy skills in the information age.
2026-02-02T00:00:00+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://urj.uin-malang.ac.id/index.php/mij/article/view/24389Pengaruh Halo Effect dalam proses penilaian kinerja pada organisasi modern2026-04-02T05:01:56+00:00Wardatul Fitriahwardafitriah5@gmail.com
This article discusses the influence of the halo effect on the performance appraisal process in modern organizations. The halo effect is a cognitive bias where a single positive employee characteristic leads the assessor to give a higher overall evaluation than is realistic. This bias can reduce the objectivity and accuracy of assessments, thus impacting important decisions such as promotions, compensation, and career development. In a modern work environment that demands transparency and fairness, the existence of the halo effect presents a challenge. Factors that trigger this bias include a lack of training for assessors, interpersonal closeness, and poorly measurable performance indicators. Efforts to minimize the impact of the halo effect can be made through the use of competency-based assessment instruments, improving assessor competency, and strengthening an organizational culture that supports objectivity in performance evaluation.
2026-02-20T00:00:00+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://urj.uin-malang.ac.id/index.php/mij/article/view/24961Tauhid sebagai fondasi epistemologi ilmu dalam islam2026-04-02T05:01:56+00:00Siska Imamatush Sholihah240602110011@student.uin-malang.ac.idAhmad Bariziabarizi_mdr@uin-malang.ac.id
In the modern world, a distinction has emerged between general science and religious science, leading to the perception that science has deviated from God's values. This has impacted our understanding of science, which tends to be secular and devoid of value. Nevertheless, monotheism (tawhid) is considered the primary foundation of Islam for all aspects of life, including the formation of scientific knowledge. This study aims to explain the role of monotheism as the epistemological foundation of science in Islam. This study uses a qualitative approach with a literature review method through a review of the Quran, Hadith, and various relevant books and journals. The results indicate that God is the primary source of truth and knowledge, while revelation, reason, and experience serve as integrated means of acquiring knowledge. Monotheism is not only the basis of faith but also directs the process, goals, and values of scientific development. Consequently, Islamic science is not value-free but rather contains worship, morals, and is oriented towards truth and the common good.
2026-02-04T00:00:00+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://urj.uin-malang.ac.id/index.php/mij/article/view/25157Aktualisasi nilai-nilai Pancasila sebagai fondasi pendidikan hak asasi manusia bagi generasi muda2026-04-02T05:01:56+00:00m. taufiqur rohmanmuhammadtaufiqurrohman770@gmail.com
Human Rights (HAM) violations remain a major challenge that hinders social justice and harms the nation's dignity. Unlimited access to information and the influx of foreign cultures through social media have a strong influence on the formation of digital character, which in many cases is not balanced with the ability to choose, filter, and control oneself. As a result, various forms of moral crises have emerged, such as the spread of hoaxes, cyberbullying, intolerance, consumptive behavior, instant culture, and the weakening of manners and social responsibility. This study aims to analyze the relevance of the Pancasila ethical system and Ulul Albab values as an ethical foundation in overcoming this moral degradation. Pancasila ethics, with its five principles, provides a moral direction that strengthens the values of divinity, humanity, unity, democracy, and social justice as guidelines for the wise use of technology. Meanwhile, the values of Ulul Albab in the Qur'an emphasize the importance of harmonizing reason and spirituality through tafakkur, tadzakkur, taqwa, amal shaleh, and dzikir as principles for forming a critical, integrity-based character that is capable of filtering information. The integration of these two concepts produces a comprehensive ethical framework for building a digital generation that is not only intellectually intelligent, but also morally and spiritually strong. The results of the study show that strengthening the values of Pancasila and Ulul Albab is very necessary in education, family, and society to create a digital generation that is moral, responsible, and able to utilize technology as a means of goodness and progress for the nation.
2026-03-05T05:28:10+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://urj.uin-malang.ac.id/index.php/mij/article/view/21290Perilaku Agresif Pada Anak Usia Dini2026-04-02T05:01:56+00:00Umriani R. Language separation occurs when an individual inserts elements from another language into the main language being used. The purpose of this study is to explore the forms and functions of language separation as an casual communication strategy in the sentence, "Guys, don't forget the assignment deadline tonight." The method used in this study is qualitative with a descriptive approach. The data obtained consisted of language units containing elements of separation from Indonesian and English. The data analysis process was carried out using a sociolinguistic approach, referring to the theory of language separation proposed by Muysken. The research results show that this sentence contains a type of code-switching in the form of insertion, which is the addition of English lexical elements such as "guys" and "deadline" into the structure of an Indonesian sentence. The use of code-switching in this context serves as a strategy for casual communication to create a friendly, relaxed, and effective nuance in conveying information, especially in interactions among university students. Therefore, code-switching not only reflects the speaker's bilingual ability but also serves as a way to adapt speech to certain social situations.
2026-03-04T00:00:00+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://urj.uin-malang.ac.id/index.php/mij/article/view/25163Produktivitas mahasiswa di era distraksi digital2026-04-02T05:01:57+00:00Muhammad Haidar Raffimuhara278@gmail.com
The rapid development of digital technology has significantly transformed students’ academic and daily lives, particularly in how they access information, communicate, and manage time. Systems that utilize distributed ledgers and smart contracts could potentially replace accountants as intermediaries and validators of transactions. This piece intends to assess how well-prepared accounting students are to navigate the shift from traditional bookkeeping to a decentralized financial landscape. By employing literature reviews and conceptual analysis techniques, the research examines students' theoretical knowledge and their ability to adapt to the demands of blockchain technology. The findings reveal that although students recognize the potential risk of technological upheaval, their comprehension of smart contract auditing and DeFi governance is still quite limited. This change necessitates a transformation in the role of accountants, requiring them to evolve from basic record-keepers to strategic analysts and auditors of blockchain systems. Consequently, this study emphasizes the pressing need for higher education institutions to update accounting programs to include contemporary financial technology education. Such modifications are essential to develop graduates who are versatile and in alignment with the needs of the industry.
2026-03-04T00:00:00+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://urj.uin-malang.ac.id/index.php/mij/article/view/24964Analisis tingkat pendapatan masyarakat dalam perspektif ekonomi islam pada lingkungan sosial berbasis ma2026-04-02T05:01:57+00:00Diah Ayu Afifahafifahdiah600@gmail.com
This study aims to analyze the level of community income and its relationship with the practice of almsgiving (sedekah) from the perspective of Islamic economics within a mosque-based social environment. The research was conducted in Riverside Housing Area RW 5 using a case study approach during the implementation of the Community Service Program (Kuliah Kerja Nyata/KKN). The research method employed was descriptive qualitative, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation of the community surrounding the mosque. The results show that the community of Riverside RW 5 has an income level classified as middle to upper-middle and high, influenced by the dominance of professional occupations such as doctors, lecturers, teachers, lawyers, and tax accountants. This stable and relatively high income level has a positive impact on the community’s economic welfare and increases social participation, particularly in religious activities and mosque-based almsgiving practices. Almsgiving is carried out actively and continuously in various mosque activities, such as weekly religious studies and gatherings, in the form of food provision and other types of social assistance. From the perspective of Islamic economics, the practice of almsgiving reflects the implementation of the principle of balance between wealth ownership and social responsibility. Wealth is viewed as a trust (amanah) that must be managed and distributed for the benefit of the community through Islamic philanthropic instruments. The mosque plays an important role as a center for the distribution of almsgiving as well as a means of strengthening social solidarity and Islamic brotherhood (ukhuwah Islamiyah). Therefore, this study indicates that a good level of income, when accompanied by strong religious values, can encourage economic behavior oriented toward social justice and collective welfare in accordance with the principles of Islamic economics.

The results show that the community of Riverside RW 5 has an income level classified as middle to upper-middle and high, influenced by the dominance of professional occupations such as doctors, lecturers, teachers, lawyers, and tax accountants. Rapid access to religious content through social media and digital platforms has driven a shift in hadith authority from traditional scholarly institutions to non-academic figures, such as da‘wah influencers. This condition raises serious problems concerning the validity of hadith, particularly the widespread use of da‘if hadith without adequate verification of sanad and matan. This study aims to analyze the dynamics of hadith authority and validity in contemporary religious practices in the digital era using a qualitative, library-based research approach. The analysis focuses on the relationship between digital religious authority, hadith critical literacy, and the application of classical methodologies such as naqd al-sanad in new contexts. The findings indicate that weak methodological literacy among the public and the dominance of digital authority contribute to distortions in the understanding of hadith. Therefore, this study emphasizes the urgency of strengthening hadith literacy and adapting hadith criticism methodologies that are relevant to the digital ecosystem in order to preserve the authority and validity of hadith in modern religious practice.
2026-03-02T00:00:00+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://urj.uin-malang.ac.id/index.php/mij/article/view/14675Hakikat, instrumentasi, dan praksis demokrasi indonesia berdasarkan pancasila dan uud 19452026-04-02T05:01:57+00:00Widiyatul Fadhilawidyafadhila0@gmail.com
Indonesian democracy is a comprehensive and intricate form of government that is founded on Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution (UUD 1945). The values found in Pancasila, which act as a framework for national and state affairs, are what make democracy so important. In addition to providing the foundation for the state, Pancasila also acts as an inspiration for setting up a democratic administration. Every precept outlines the fundamental ideas that ought to guide social and political activities. The 1945 Constitution establishes the legal foundation for Indonesia's democratic process and governs its tools. The general election, or pemilu, is a significant mechanism that enables people to choose their leaders directly. To maintain impartiality and openness, they are supervised by the General Election Commission (KPU) and held on a regular basis. Furthermore, as representatives of the people, legislative bodies such as the House of Representatives (DPR) and the Regional Representatives Council (DPD) are in charge of enacting laws and monitoring governmental policy. Indonesia's democratic practices are exemplified by political dynamics, such as public participation in the political process. Through a variety of platforms, including as social media, civil society organizations, and public forums, people are becoming more engaged in expressing their thoughts. Despite this, more people are participating in politics. Ideal democracy is still thwarted by corruption, power abuse, and unequal access to knowledge and information. Briefly said, Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution serve as the foundation for the character, tools, and practices of Indonesian democracy. The entire nation must pledge to consistently actualize Pancasila values in all facets of national life in order to establish a high-quality and long-lasting democracy.
2026-03-05T00:00:00+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://urj.uin-malang.ac.id/index.php/mij/article/view/25107Konflik batin pada tokoh Rengganis dalam novel Hati Suhita karya Khilma Anis berdasarkan pendekatan psikologi sastra2026-04-02T05:01:58+00:00Nazifatul Mardiah220301110105@student.uin-malang.ac.id
This study examines the inner conflicts experienced by Ratna Rengganis, a central character in Khilma Anis’s novel Hati Suhita, through the perspective of literary psychology using Abraham Maslow’s hierarchy of needs. Hati Suhita presents a complex relational dynamic without introducing an antagonistic character; instead, it highlights the psychological struggles of its characters, particularly Rengganis. She is portrayed as a loyal, self-sacrificing, and emotionally mature woman who is confronted with painful realities such as separation, family pressure, and an unattainable love. The findings of this research show that Rengganis’s inner conflicts involve sadness, disappointment, confusion, loss, inferiority, acceptance, and the determination to rise again. These conflicts emerge as consequences of unmet psychological needs as described by Maslow, especially the needs for love, safety, self-esteem, and self-actualization. Through an in-depth analysis of selected excerpts from the novel, this study demonstrates that Rengganis’s psychological journey reflects the struggle of a woman who ultimately attains emotional maturity through sincerity and resilience. This research is expected to contribute to literary psychological studies, particularly those exploring the dynamics of female characters’ inner conflicts in contemporary Indonesian literature.
2026-03-02T00:00:00+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://urj.uin-malang.ac.id/index.php/mij/article/view/16183Ontologi dalam praktik pendidikan2026-04-02T05:01:58+00:00sofiyah amalun putrisofiyaap66@gmail.com
Education is a crucial means for developing students' potential to interact creatively with their environment. This study employs a qualitative approach to deeply understand how ontology in educational practice, along with its implications and challenges, affects the education system. Educational ontology encompasses both individual aspects, focusing on student experiences, and social aspects, highlighting sociocultural contexts. The findings indicate that no single school of educational philosophy is entirely dominant in learning practices. Instead, integrating various approaches—such as progressive, essentialist, and reconstructivist—provides educators with the flexibility to develop effective teaching strategies. Ontological assumptions significantly impact curriculum design, teaching methods, and evaluation processes. In conclusion, ontological awareness is essential for educators to design and implement relevant educational practices. Understanding educational philosophy enables teachers to be more reflective in their pedagogical decision-making, thereby fostering democratic, critical, and contextual learning in a dynamic modern era.
2026-03-02T00:00:00+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://urj.uin-malang.ac.id/index.php/mij/article/view/24970Pemberdayaan masyarakat Desa Kemiri melalui peningkatan fasilitas umum dan edukasi pola asuh anak2026-04-02T05:01:58+00:00lutfia lutfialutfiapakis@gmail.com
This study aims to analyze community empowerment in Kemiri Village through the improvement of public facilities and parenting education as an integrative and sustainable rural development model. Data analysis is conducted through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing by comparing and synthesizing findings from previous studies. The results indicate that pedagogical competence plays a crucial role in supporting teacher professionalism, particularly in understanding learners, implementing well-planned instruction, and conducting appropriate learning evaluations. For pre-service teachers, early mastery of pedagogical competence becomes a key foundation in developing professional readiness. Therefore, strengthening pedagogical competence should continuously be promoted through teacher education programs and educational policies to enhance the quality of learning and overall educational outcomes.
2026-03-04T08:03:20+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://urj.uin-malang.ac.id/index.php/mij/article/view/23111Konsep adab menuntut ilmu dalam Al-Qur’an dan relevansinya bagi mahasiswa baru2026-04-02T05:01:58+00:00Himma Iliyatul Chamidahhimmachamidah88@gmail.com
The etiquette of seeking knowledge is a fundamental value in the Islamic educational tradition, which places ethics, morality, and spirituality as the primary foundation before one enters the process of seeking knowledge. The Qur'an provides a comprehensive ethical framework for how a student should behave, from organizing intentions, humility, and respect for teachers to sincerity, discipline, and critical thinking skills. This article aims to examine the concept of etiquette in seeking knowledge as stated in the Qur'an and analyze its relevance for new students adapting to the academic environment of higher education. Using a thematic analysis approach to Qur'anic verses and referring to the views of scholars, this study finds that etiquette is not merely a moral code, but a practical guideline that can improve students' intellectual quality and character. The results of the study indicate that the application of etiquette values has a positive impact on students' academic integrity, learning ethics, time management, social interaction skills, and spiritual maturity. Etiquette has also proven relevant in facing the challenges of the digital era, particularly related to information ethics and critical literacy. Thus, the etiquette of seeking knowledge has a significant contribution in shaping new students into knowledgeable, moral, and responsible individuals, while simultaneously strengthening the role of higher education as a space for character and intellectual development.
2026-03-04T07:23:59+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##
