Efektivitas penggunaan lagu-lagu Inggris dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berbahasa Inggris pada remaja
Abstract
The effectiveness of using English songs in improving English language skills in adolescents. This research uses a literature study approach by analyzing various relevant sources. The journal found that English songs have a positive impact on improving English language skills, especially in terms of vocabulary, grammar, and speaking skills. English songs can increase motivation and enthusiasm for learning, helping to improve listening, speaking and reading skills. However, their effectiveness is influenced by factors such as student motivation, appropriate song selection, and students' ability to understand lyrics and grammar. In this journal, teachers are advised to choose songs that are suitable for learning and easy for students to understand. In addition to using the song method, teaching and learning activities can also be combined with discussion or joint analysis to increase interaction in the classroom. It is also important to provide guidance for students to understand the grammar in the song. Finally, the journal emphasizes the importance of creating a lively classroom atmosphere, by having students sing along to increase their confidence and motivation to learn English.
