Pengguna Internet di Indonesia: Tren, Tantangan, dan Peluang di Era Digital
Abstract
The development of digital technology in Indonesia has significantly influenced communication patterns and daily activities. This study explores internet usage trends in Indonesia, focusing on user demographics, digital challenges, and emerging opportunities. Data from the Indonesian Internet Service Providers Association (APJII), Statistics Indonesia (BPS), and other sources indicate that internet penetration has reached 77% of the population, though access disparities persist between urban and rural areas, as well as generational differences. Key challenges include low digital literacy and cybersecurity risks. However, digital transformation offers substantial opportunities, particularly in education, economy, and healthcare. Government support through the “Indonesia Digital Nation 2024” program aims to improve digital access and literacy nationwide. This research provides strategic insights into the role of digitalization in promoting inclusivity and well-being for Indonesian society in the digital era.
