Berbagai Macam Dinamika Sosial dan Budaya Bangsa Arab pada Masa Jahiliyah
Abstract
The Arab people have a rich civilizational heritage, particularly in the field of literature. The pre-Islamic period, known as the Jahiliyah era, was a pivotal phase in the development of Arabic literature, especially poetry that reflected the life and values of the society at the time. This article explores the origins of the Arab people, as well as their social, cultural, political, economic, and religious characteristics, including the central role of literature in their daily lives. This period also highlights the harsh geographical conditions of the Arabian Peninsula, the strong tribal system, and a society that, despite its divisions, was rich in arts and tribal traditions. The study emphasizes that understanding the Jahiliyah era is essential to comprehending the foundations of Arab civilization and its transformation following the advent of Islam.
