Dampak kosmetik yang mengandung merkuri pada organ tubuh selain kulit
Abstract
Mercury in cosmetics, especially skin whitening products, is a serious threat to health. Studies show that mercury not only damages the skin but can also damage the kidneys, liver, central nervous system, and other important organs. Long-term exposure risks causing impaired kidney function, liver damage, nerve disorders such as Tremors and memory loss. Therefore, it is important to choose cosmetic products that are safe and free of Mercury. The purpose of the study was to find and analyze the impact of using cosmetics containing mercury on organs other than the skin and to find out how to handle them, the method used in this study or article is a literature review method that uses certain, reliable sources, such as previous research, and scientific journals, and scientific journals, in this study, it was concluded that the use of cosmetics containing mercury not only damages the skin, but also has the potential to harm the kidneys, liver, and digestive tract.
