Risk management strategies in Indonesia's financial sector in the face of challenges and uncertainties both domestically and globally. Bank Indonesia highlights systemic risks that have the potential to disrupt national financial stability, such as ineffective monetary policy transmission and the potential for systemic crises. To address this, financial institutions are implementing a comprehensive and integrated risk management approach, including the building of a risk culture, utilization of advanced technologies such as AI and big data, and strengthening of risk policies and limits. In addition, portfolio diversification, continuous training, and internal controls are key in maintaining stability, improving liquidity, and reducing credit risk. This strategy aims to improve financial performance and institutional resilience, while supporting the sustainability of the financial sector amid global economic dynamics. Successful implementation of risk management requires continuous commitment, investment in technology, and development of competent human resources.
