THE RELATIONSHIP OF RELIGION WITH HARMONY AND INTEGRATION
Abstract
This research aims to explore how religion can play a role in realizing a harmonious and integrated social life in a pluralistic society. This research was conducted through a literature review with a qualitative descriptive approach to examine the values of religious teachings and their contribution to creating tolerance, solidarity and social unity. The results of the study show that religious teachings, when understood openly and moderately, are able to become a unifying force between religious communities. The role of religious leaders, inter-faith dialogue, and support for government policies are supporting factors in creating harmony. However, there are still challenges such as lack of interfaith communication, external provocations, and social disparities that hinder the integration process. Therefore, strategies are needed such as strengthening religious moderation education, optimizing digital media, and active involvement of religious organizations in maintaining peaceful social life.Downloads
