Abstract

This article discusses the relationship between vision, mission, and motivation in entrepreneurship. Vision is understood as a long-term future orientation, while mission represents concrete steps to realize it. Motivation acts as the driving force that enables vision and mission to be implemented consistently. In entrepreneurship, the synergy between vision, mission, and motivation is essential as the foundation for building sustainable, innovative, and competitive businesses. The discussion emphasizes the importance of understanding these three elements, particularly in higher education, to shape students into not only job seekers but also job creators. Using a descriptive-analytical approach, this article outlines the functional relationship between these three elements in shaping the character of a visionary and value-oriented entrepreneur. This study also highlights the role of higher education institutions in instilling entrepreneurial values through the integration of vision, mission, and motivation into the curriculum and learning activities. The results of the discussion indicate that students with a clear vision, a directed mission, and high motivation tend to be better able to identify opportunities, take measured risks, and innovate in facing market dynamics. Thus, a deep understanding of the relationship between vision, mission, and motivation not only contributes to individual success in entrepreneurship but also supports the creation of a productive and sustainable entrepreneurial ecosystem in the academic environment.
