Prokrastinasi akademik dan motivasi belajar
Analisis faktor internal dan eksternal pada mahasiwa
Abstract
This study examines the relationship between academic procrastination and learning motivation by analyzing internal and external factors such as self-regulation, family support, peer influence, learning independence, and social media usage. Academic procrastination is defined as the intentional delay of academic tasks despite awareness of its negative consequences. This phenomenon arises due to low motivation, poor self-regulation, and high digital distractions. An analysis of studies conducted by Fitricia Wulandari, Ammar Muntazhim, Adinda Rokhim, Noval Achmad, Ketrin Putri, and Chusnul Khotimah highlights that procrastination is a multidimensional behavior influenced by psychological and environmental interactions. The findings emphasize the importance of motivation, independent learning, time management, and social support in reducing procrastination and improving academic performance. These insights can guide students, educators, and families in designing strategies to minimize academic procrastination.
