An Analysis of Bullying Behavior Among Adolescents in the School Environment
Case Study at a High School

Bullying is an aggressive behavior carried out intentionally and repeatedly against individuals considered weaker. Bullying in the school environment has become a serious problem because it causes physical, psychological, social, and academic impacts on victims. This study aims to analyze the forms of bullying behavior, causal factors, impacts, and prevention efforts among adolescents in schools. The research used a qualitative method through literature studies based on several journals related to bullying. The results show that bullying occurs in verbal, physical, social, emotional, and cyberbullying forms. Factors causing bullying include family environment, peer influence, social media, and lack of school supervision. The impacts of bullying cause victims to experience anxiety, low self-confidence, depression, social difficulties, and decreased academic achievement. Bullying prevention requires cooperation between schools, families, and communities through character education and anti-bullying socialization.
