Dinamika layanan perpustakaan kontemporer: kajian transformasi digital, literasi informasi, dan evaluasi kepuasan pengguna
Abstract
The development of library services in the digital era presents various challenges, particularly related to the readiness of digital transformation, the low level of information literacy among some users, and the suboptimal level of satisfaction with digital services. This study aims to examine the digital transformation of library services, the role of information literacy in supporting service utilization, and the level of user satisfaction with contemporary library services. This research employs a descriptive approach through a literature review of various scientific sources relevant to digital transformation, information literacy, and user satisfaction evaluation. The results of the study indicate that digital transformation is able to improve service efficiency and expand access to information; however, its success is strongly influenced by infrastructure readiness, librarian competence, and users’ information literacy skills. Information literacy is proven to act as a bridge between the quality of digital services and the level of user satisfaction. This study concludes that digital transformation, information literacy, and user satisfaction are three interrelated aspects that must be developed in a balanced manner. The implications of this study highlight the importance of strengthening information literacy programs and conducting continuous service evaluations to ensure that libraries remain relevant and capable of meeting users’ needs in the digital era.
