Pemetaan pola reduplikasi dan komposisi pada buku pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia SMA
Keywords:

This study aims to examine word formation and usage patterns in Indonesian language textbooks for high school students. This study focuses on morphological analysis, particularly the word formation processes through reduplication and composition, and the changes in meaning that occur as a result of these processes. The method used was a qualitative approach, with data collection through listening and note-taking, and data analysis using grouping and expansion techniques. The data were analyzed descriptively to determine the patterns and frequency of morphological processes that frequently occur. The results indicate that reduplication and composition play a significant role in the formation of word variations in the textbooks. Reduplication is used three times to reinforce or repeat meaning, while composition occurs 22 times to produce new words with specific meanings according to the learning context. Furthermore, changes in word form due to morphological processes also affect word classes, such as verbs, nouns, adjectives, and adverbs. In conclusion, the patterns of reduplication and composition in Indonesian language textbooks for high school students demonstrate a diverse and rich linguistic structure, which can support language learning and comprehension at the upper secondary level.
