Pengembangan kompetensi Al-qur’an di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah era digital
Abstract
The development of Qur’an reading skills in Elementary Islamic School is becoming increasingly important in this digital era, as children today are more familiar with technology than with books. Qur’an learning must adapt to the advancement of the times without abandoning its fundamental values. In this context, Elementary Islamic School can enhance students Qur’an reading competence through a combination of structured traditional learning methods and the use of digital media, such as learning applications, audio murottal, and proper implementation of tajwid. This approach can be applied in all elementary schools, especially in Elementary Islamic School, which has the characteristic of Islamic based primary education, as it supports student habituation in learning to read the Qur’an. In addition, teachers also contribute to students succes through programs established in each Elementary Islamic School, enabling learning in the digital era to create greater opportunities for a more engaging and accessible learning process. Similarly, the home environment plays an active role, as parents help develop Qur’an reading competence by creating special routines for practicing proper and accurate Qur’an reading, there by improving students reading skills. In this era of digital development, elementary school students are expected to foster interest, discipline, and love for the Qur’an as essential foundations for their future spiritual growth.
