Abstract

Self-management encompasses the ability to manage time, emotions, finances, and business ethics, which play a crucial role in the sustainability of MSMEs. This study aims to examine self-management practices at Bu Maryati's Madura Satay business in Malang City, studying them in light of Islamic economic principles, and providing recommendations for improving business performance. The study employed a qualitative descriptive approach through interviews, observation, and simple documentation. Thematic data analysis covered time management, emotional control, financial management, business ethics, and digitalization.The results indicate that Bu Maryati has implemented self-management in managing production time, controlling emotions in service, separating business and personal finances, and implementing the values ​​of honesty and trustworthiness. However, the use of digitalization in marketing remains limited and poses a challenge to business development. This study concludes that self-management based on Islamic economic values ​​plays a crucial role in maintaining the sustainability of MSMEs, but needs to be supported by strengthening financial literacy and utilizing digital technology.
