Abstract

The development of globalization has had a significant impact on shaping the values and character of Indonesia’s young generation. The unlimited use of digital systems and the influx of foreign cultures have led to a decline in moral values, a weakening sense of nationalism, and a shift in social attitudes toward individualism and materialism. This article aims to examine the patterns of internalizing Pancasila values in the process of character formation among young people in the era of globalization, as well as to formulate strategies that can be applied in response to the challenges of the digital age. The article also explores the dynamics of globalization, obstacles in implementing Pancasila values, and education as a means of shaping character and national identity. The findings show that the main issues lie in the ideological understanding and social practices of young people in the digital sphere. Pancasila functions as the main theoretical foundation that connects technological advancement with human values, making it a relevant moral guideline amid the influence of globalization. Efforts to internalize Pancasila values need to be realized through contextual education, inter-institutional collaboration, and optimizing digital media as a space for character learning.
