Urgensi Al-Qur'an dalam Pembentukan Karakter Anak Usia Dini di TPQ Nurul Islam, Kupang Bader
Abstract
This research aims to examine the importance of implementing ethical and moral education derived from Qur'anic values as an effort to shape the character of early childhood at PAUD Nurul Islam, Kupang. A descriptive qualitative method was used to analyze data through observation and document studies of the students. The research findings clearly indicate that the application of the Qur'an-based moral education model provides a significant positive contribution to the development of children's character. Core values such as honesty, discipline, responsibility, and respect for others were observed to develop well. The success of this program is supported by three crucial factors: the creation of a school environment with a strong religious nuance, the active role and exemplary behavior of the teachers, and the full support from parents. In conclusion, moral education based on the Qur'an plays a highly urgent role in building a solid foundation of character from an early age, making this model effective and highly recommended for replication in other early childhood education institutions.
