Peran hukum ekonomi syariah dalam membangun keadilan ekonomi dan toleransi sosial di era digital
Abstract
Sharia economic law is a branch of Islamic law that regulates economic activities based on the principles of justice, balance, and welfare. Amidst the development of the digital economy, various issues have emerged, such as unequal distribution of wealth, unfair business practices, and a decline in ethics in economic activities. This article aims to analyze the role of Sharia economic law in establishing economic justice and strengthening social tolerance in the digital era. The research method used is a literature study with a descriptive-analytical approach to Sharia economic law literature and related studies. Academic references from journal at UIN Malang were also used to strengthen the local and scientific foundations. The results of the study indicate that Sharia economic law not only functions as a normative rule in transactions but also plays a strategic role in creating economic justice through the principles of wealth distribution, the application of business ethics, and universal and inclusive muamalah practices. With the maqasid sharia approach and contemporary ijtihad, Sharia economic law remains relevant and able to adapt to the development of the digital economy without abandoning its fundamental values.
