Abstract

This study aims to explore the synergy between the Pondok Pesantren Salaf Modern (PPSM) Banin Banat Al-Mubtadi-ien and the community of Badal Village, Kediri. This Islamic boarding school implements an inclusive education model that provides extensive access to local residents for both formal and non-formal education. The findings indicate that the majority of students in the formal educational institutions are local residents who do not reside in the dormitory. This demonstrates that the pesantren has transformed into a strategic partner and a center for moral development for the village community. High public trust stems from the integration of the religious curriculum and the character education offered. However, this study also identifies managerial obstacles, specifically the underutilization of digital information media and limited human resources. Consequently, strategic steps such as information digitalization and capacity building for managerial staff are required to ensure that the quality of educational services and external collaborations continue to develop professionally in the future.
