Strategi peningkatan kompetensi tenaga pendidik di UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang

Abstract

The development of information and communication technology in the digital era and the Industrial Revolution 4.0 requires educators to possess adequate educational technology competencies. Mastery of technology has become an important factor in supporting effective, innovative, and relevant learning processes in accordance with contemporary needs. This study aims to analyze strategies for developing educational technology skills among educators at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. The research employed a qualitative descriptive approach through a literature study by examining various journals, scientific articles, and other relevant sources related to educators’ digital competencies. Data collection was conducted through documentation, while data analysis used content analysis techniques. The findings indicate that the main strategies for developing educational technology skills include continuous digital training, the establishment of professional learning communities, and the provision of adequate facilities and infrastructure. Digital training helps educators improve their ability to utilize educational technology, professional communities encourage collaboration and the exchange of best practices among educators, and adequate facilities and infrastructure strengthen the implementation of technology in the learning process. With well-planned and sustainable strategies, educators are able to adapt to technological developments and create learning processes that are more effective, interactive, and relevant to the demands of the modern era.
