The development of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) offers opportunities to enhance the quality of learning in higher education but also poses challenges to academic integrity. This study aims to analyze the use of GenAI in learning and formulate strategies for its implementation at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. The research employs a qualitative descriptive approach using a library research method. Data were gathered from scholarly journals, UNESCO documents, GenAI usage guidelines, and other relevant literature, and subsequently analyzed using content analysis techniques. The findings indicate that GenAI can improve learning effectiveness, support independent learning, and foster student creativity. However, its use requires AI literacy, clear guidelines, and a strengthening of academic integrity to ensure the technology is utilized ethically and responsibly.
