Evaluasi manajemen risiko pembiayaan pada perbankan syariah
Analisis faktor penyebab dan efektivitas strategi pengendalian
Abstract
This study aims to analyze financing risk management in Islamic banking, specifically the risk-causing factors and the effectiveness of control strategies. The method used was a literature review, reviewing various relevant journals and scientific articles. The results indicate that financing risk is the primary risk in Islamic banking, as measured by the Non-Performing Financing (NPF) indicator. High NPF is influenced by internal factors such as weak financing analysis, inadequate monitoring, and limited human resource quality, as well as external factors such as economic conditions, customer characteristics, and low Islamic financial literacy. The implemented risk control strategies include financing feasibility analysis (5Cs), monitoring and early warning systems, financing restructuring, portfolio diversification, and the use of digital technology. However, the evaluation results indicate that the effectiveness of risk management remains suboptimal due to a gap between concept and implementation. Therefore, strengthening the risk management system is necessary through improving human resource quality, utilizing technology, and strengthening supervision and compliance with Islamic principles. Therefore, effective risk management is key to maintaining the stability and sustainability of Islamic banking.
