Modern lifestyles that emphasize convenience have significantly influenced people’s health behaviors. Low consumption of fruits and vegetables, increased intake of fast food, and lack of physical activity are major contributors to various health problems, such as obesity and mental health disorders, especially among adolescents. This study aims to examine the importance of initiating a healthy lifestyle through simple and practical steps that can be applied in daily life. The method used is a literature review by analyzing various sources related to healthy living practices. The findings indicate that maintaining a balanced diet, consuming adequate water, and engaging in regular light physical activities can positively impact both physical and mental health. In addition, the role of family, particularly parents, and the surrounding environment is crucial in shaping healthy habits from an early age. Public awareness and education are key factors in fostering sustainable behavioral changes. By starting with small but consistent actions, individuals can significantly improve their quality of life and reduce the risk of developing chronic diseases in the future.
