Peran program pkpba dalam penguatan kemampuan bahasa arab mahasiswa: kajian pustaka terhadap tren dan efektivitas pembelajaran di uin maulana malik ibrahim malang

Abstract

The Special Program for Arabic Language Development (PKPBA) is a flagship program developed by UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang to improve students' Arabic language competence as a whole. This study aims to analyze the contribution of PKPBA in strengthening students' Arabic language skills through a literature review approach that highlights learning trends and effectiveness. This research uses a literature study method by examining various scientific sources, such as journals, books, and relevant research reports. The results of the study show that PKPBA makes a significant contribution to improving students' Arabic language skills, especially in the aspects of istima', kalam, qira'ah, and kitabah. This program applies an intensive and communicative learning approach so that it is able to build an active and contextual learning environment. In addition, the learning trend shows a shift from traditional methods to technology-based approaches and student-centered learning. The dormitory system (ma'had) also strengthens the effectiveness of the program through the habituation of the use of Arabic. However, this program still faces several obstacles, such as differences in students' ability backgrounds and limitations in technology adaptation. Therefore, managers need to continue to develop learning innovations so that the program is more optimal in supporting students' Arabic language mastery.
