Abstract

Academic coaching is the process of providing professional assistance to teachers to improve their competence and the quality of learning. Meanwhile, educational culture is the set of values and norms that develop within the educational environment and influence educators' attitudes and behaviors in teaching. Integrating these two aspects is crucial in shaping teacher professionalism, both in terms of competence and character. This research employed a qualitative approach, utilizing a literature review drawn from several journal references related to academic supervision, educational management, and educational information systems. It focused on how structured coaching processes and cultural values interconnect in enhancing teachers' professional competence and character. The results indicate that academic coaching for educators, implemented in a planned, systematic, and sustainable manner, can improve teachers' abilities in educating, planning, implementing, and evaluating learning. Meanwhile, educational culture plays a role in shaping teachers' attitudes and character, encompassing the values of discipline, professional ethics, and responsibility. Both are integrated and strengthened through institutional management support and technology in the evaluation and monitoring process. Thus, the integration and development of academic and cultural aspects of education is an effective strategy for enhancing teacher professionalism, as it can develop competency and character in a balanced and sustainable manner within Islamic educational institutions. Furthermore, this integration can strengthen educational institutions in developing educators with integrity, adaptability, and the ability to face the challenges of modern development.
