Abstract

The advancement of digital technology has significantly altered the educational landscape, especially with regard to students' academic pursuits. In addition to being a tool for communication, digital technology is also employed for learning, information retrieval, academic cooperation, and higher learning productivity. The purpose of this study is to examine how students' productivity in the current day is affected by their use of digital technologies. The research methodology is library research, which involves gathering different scientific materials in the form of scholarly publications and pertinent periodicals. The findings demonstrate how the use of digital technology can improve student learning effectiveness and efficiency through greater creativity and digital abilities, quick access to information, and learning flexibility. Overuse of digital technology, however, can also have detrimental effects like diminished focus when learning, addiction to social media, and a decline in face-to-face social connection. Therefore, in order to maximize student productivity, digital technology must be used carefully and responsibly.
