Transformasi pendidikan islam di era digital: Strategi adaptasi lembaga pendidikan terhadap perkembangan teknologi

Abstract

The rapid development of technology in the modern era demands a restructuring of educational systems, including Islamic education institutions, to remain relevant to contemporary dynamics while preserving religious values. This study aims to examine the phenomenon of digital transformation within the scope of Islamic education and to formulate strategic steps for educational institutions in adopting these technological advancements. Utilizing a qualitative approach with a literature review method, data were gathered from various scientific literatures, journals, and relevant articles, which were then analyzed critically and systematically. The findings indicate that the digitalization of Islamic education is manifested through the integration of e-learning platforms, interactive learning media, and online-based learning systems, which are proven to expand accessibility and enhance learning efficiency. Nevertheless, this transitional process faces significant constraints, such as disparities in technological infrastructure, limited digital literacy among educators, and challenges in filtering global information flows. To address these issues, the recommended adaptation strategies include accelerating teachers' digital competencies, fulfilling supporting facilities, and aligning technological content with Islamic spiritual and moral values to ensure that the distinctive Islamic identity is maintained in the modern era.
