Abstract

Developments in information technology have created significant transformations in the way data is managed and utilized in libraries. Integrating technology is a crucial step in improving library services to make them more efficient, effective, and accessible to users. Various technologies such as library automation systems, online catalogs (OPAC), digital libraries, institutional repositories, and internet-based information access have the potential to improve service quality and accelerate the information retrieval process. Furthermore, the application of technology also supports librarians in collection management, information storage, and data distribution widely without limitations of place and time. This study aims to explore how technology can optimize information resources in libraries and the benefits obtained by users and library managers.
