Abstract

The increasingly significant development of social media has had various impacts on the lives of adolescents, one of which is the emergence of cyberbullying. Cyberbullying is an act of intimidation, humiliation, or harassment carried out through digital mrdia that can affect adolescents psychological health. The experience of receiving negative comments or unpleasant treatment on social media often leads to fear and a lack of confidence. This condition can trigger a tendency to overthink, which is the habit of thinking about a problem excessively and repeatedly. This study explains the relationship between cyberbullying experiences and the emergence of overthinking in adolescents and its impact on mental health. Through proper understanding, it is hoped that adolescents will be able to use social media effectively and maintain their psychological helath.
