Keywords:
Curriculum Integration, Cambridge Primary, Classroom Observation, Bilingual LearningAbstract
This study analyzes the integration of the National Curriculum and Cambridge Primary Curriculum at SD Laboratorium UM through a review of curriculum documents and learning implementation. Integration was carried out to meet the demands of 21st-century competencies by combining national standards and international approaches. The research method used document analysis and observation of learning practices in English, Math, and Science subjects. The results showed that curriculum integration was carried out through competency mapping between the two curricula outlined in bilingual teaching materials. Learning was implemented using an active and collaborative approach, while English was the primary medium of instruction for Cambridge subjects. Learning evaluation combined national assessments with Cambridge assessments such as Progress Check and Checkpoint. This integration was proven to improve students' English language skills, numeracy literacy, and science literacy, although obstacles such as the availability of Cambridge materials and teacher readiness still need to be addressed. Overall, this integration model makes a positive contribution to improving the quality of basic education.
