Abstract

Green economy has become an important topic in sustainable development. One way to realise a green economy is to utilise waste as a valuable resource. Waste, especially organic waste, can be converted into organic fertiliser that can be used to improve agricultural productivity and environmental sustainability. This paper aims to discuss the utilisation of waste as organic fertiliser in the context of the green economy, with a focus on the resulting economic and environmental benefits.
