Eksplorasi alasan siswa di Pondok Pesantren Al-Ma’arif Putri Udanawu Blitar menghadapi kesulitan dalam memahami matematika

Mathematics is one of the important subjects, in everyday life math can be used to solve various problems. However, many students experience obstacles when learning it. Both internal constraints and external constraints. Not only public school students who experience learning problems. However, students who are at the same time students at dormitory also feel learning constraints. The author collects data using a questionnaire method distributed to students. From the questionnaire, the author cah analyze that the influencing factors are factors originating from individuals, factors from school, and factors from residence or boarding school.the results of the data obtained show that students who live in the Al-Ma’arif boarding school like the training method by occupying the highest percentage of 22%, while the method is not in demand is the teacher method, with a percentage of 0,45%. In order to increase students’ interest in learning, motivation and appreciation for students must be able to control themselves and manage their time so that when they are in any environment students can learn optimally.
