This article discusses the transformation of digital technology in the world of education as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Massive changes are occurring in various sectors, including education, because the convergence of digital technology is changing the learning paradigm. Education in this pandemic era relies on digital technology to continue running optimally. Educators are also required to master information technology in addition to academic and pedagogical knowledge. The COVID-19 pandemic is a major driver of digital transformation in education. Physical restrictions and crowds encourage the use of online media in studying and working. Advances in digital technology have a significant impact on various sectors of life and are an indicator of a country's progress. This transformation not only affects the way knowledge is acquired, but also reshapes educational paradigms. Various digital platforms, such as YouTube, Zenius, WhatsApp, Google Classroom, and Zoom Meeting, play an important role in optimizing digital technology in education. Online learning through these platforms provides new opportunities to learn interactively, flexibly, and adapt to various learning styles. However, this transformation also presents challenges, especially for educators in remote areas. In addition, the need to adapt to new technology requires additional competencies from educators. With advances in digital technology, education can become more effective and inclusive, providing opportunities for individuals to develop and societies to progress.
